Meet the Team

John Michael

I’ve been working in Pittsburgh construction since 2009, with hands-on experience across commercial, residential, nonprofit, and maintenance projects—along with safety and security-focused work where details and accountability actually matter.

I have a decade of hands-on experience in the construction industry in Pittsburgh. I don’t just see how things should look on paper—I understand how they get built in the real world. I’m comfortable operating at the intersection of design, logistics, and problem-solving, and I take a pragmatic, durability-first approach to every job.

I keep my practice intentionally small and privacy-focused. Clients are few and carefully selected. If we decide to work together, you get my full attention: I overserve, I’m responsive and discreet, and I’m available 24/7. This isn’t volume work for me—it’s a trust-based, detail-driven partnership.

Sometimes I go by Jack.

Values:

My work is guided by a human-first ethos. I believe people possess inherent dignity, value, and worth—and should never be treated as a means to an end. That belief shapes how I build, how I communicate, and how I show up for clients. I believe that there is enough creativity, time, and possibility to do things well without cutting corners or rushing decisions.

Outside of the jobsite, I’m drawn to things that are built with intention and joy: treehouses tucked into old canopies, well-proportioned bungalows, and artisan coffee. Those same instincts—care, proportion, and respect for place—carry through everything I do.
